Course content
Individual School Experience will be undertaken individually, it can be completed at any time during the programme (not only throughout the term but also during the holidays) at the following places and institutions, always one of the three given types: - schools in health care institutions (hospitals, rehabilitation centres and sanatoriums); - non-government agencies (foundations and civic associations); - social care institutions providing help for pre-school children (daily and weekly stay hospitals, homes for distresed mothers, etc.) These institutions must be approved by the school experience guarantor.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Monitoring, Demonstration
Learning outcomes
Individual school experience should help the student get acquainted with specific aspects of work at a particular school while learning about the activities of individual members of a team, about non-profit organisations, about their projects and programmes, and about the funding of non-profit organisations.
Basic knowledge of the character and workload at selected educational places and institutions.
Prerequisites
A broad understanding of basic special pedagogy

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation, Student portfolio analysis

Active participation; keeping an experience log; description and appraisal of the institution.
