Course content
1. Talent and self-concept of talented individuals 2. Personality development of the gifted child 3. Diagnostics of talent and the search for talented children 4. Intelligence and aptitude 5. Preventing the problems of bright pupils at school 6. The role of learning and motivation in the development of the gifted 7. The methods of educating the talented 8. Integration or separation of the bright?

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Graphic and art activities, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced into problems and issues related to the education of gifted children; on completion of the course, they will be familiar with specific approaches to bright children (acceleration, self-enrichmnet), able to reflect upon teacher-talented pupil relationship.
