Course content
Lectures: 1. Nervous systém, motoric development, speech development 2. Neurological syndromes 3. Neurodevelopmental disorders 4. Congenital developmental defects 5. Cerebral Palsy, health and social aspects 6. Syndrome ADHD 7. Autism 8. Epilepsy 9. Neuromuscular diseases 10. Injuries of the central nervous system 11. Neuroinfections 12. Headaches 13. Strokes 14. Multiple sclerosis

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with principles of general neurology and most frequently occurring neurological diseases
The student identifies symptoms of most frequent neurological diseases The student is able to provide the first aid in epileptic seizure The student can educate the paediatric patients and their families

Oral examination, Essay, Student performance assessment

Requirements for granting the examination: aktivity in lessons, tutorial work on a given theme, oral examination
