Course content
Basic manifestations The picture of partial disorders Behavioural disorder x behavioural dysfunction The teacher´s interventional potential general formation of children´s behaviour solution of particular situations approach to partial disorders collaboration with parents and specialists Primary and secondary problems and avoiding them Victimisation and its modern forms Prevention as a constituent part of children group work

Learning outcomes
Specialism in Behavioural Disorder Therapy will be a follow-up to the Essentials of Behavioural Disorder Therapy course, with added emphasis on partial disorders, especially on their picture in pre-school age, namely on potential intervention. Reference will be made both to the teacher´s general possibilities for forming children´s behaviour and to specific approaches to the solution of particular situations and to addressing partial disorders. The course will highlight differences between behavioural disorder and behavioural dysfunction and approaches to their solutions. No less attention will be given to prevention, including the avoidance of secondary dysfunction development.
Basic diagnostical and preventative competence related to behavioural disorders.
