Learning outcomes
The goal of the workshop is to inform the students of the Pedagogical faculty about the internationaly spread and accomplished method of Reuven Feuerstein, worldknown pedagogist and psychologist. The method is focused on cognitive functions development. The workshop includes both theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical one the students are introduced to historical context of the birth of the method and to its theoretical premises. In the practical part, the students try the work with the selected instruments on themselves and they will be taught how to apply the method principles in education of their subjects. In the case of interest it is possible to provide a visit at some elementary school in the Czech Republic where the pupils are taught according to the method.
The students understand Feuerstein´s approach to the education, they know the basic terminology and they are able to apply the method priciples in education of their subjects.

Seminar work

Written elaboration of any instrument page from the instrument "Organization of dots" - procedure of work, bridging proposals for the given target group of pupils.
