Course content
1. Pedagogical researc 2. The wording of the research problem, the research objectives, research questions and hypotheses, the criteria of scientific inquiry, validity, reliability 3. Quantitative and qualitative research 4. Quantitative Methods (questionnaire, observation) 5. Quantitative Methods (standardized interview, content analysis) 6. Qualitative methods (the observation, standardized interview) 7. Interpretation of data-coding 8. Didactical tests, standardized tests, intelligence tests, sample tests 9. Projective techniques 10. Sociometrie 11.Content analysis: gender correctness of textbooks, evaluation of textbooks in terms of difficulty 12.Experiment (method, examples of experiments) 13. +14. Presentation of the work of students

Learning outcomes
The aim is develop and practically apply the knowledge gained in the Bachelor's metodology. Content of course: the formulation of research problem and hypothesis and how to choose an appropriate method for its verification. How to make a representative research sample and how to control and minimize error variance. Choosing qualitative and quantitative methods and variable quantity. Testing differences between them. Parametric and nonparametric statistics. Research projects poor and good. Experimental research and ex post facto research. A natural laboratory research, field investigations. Samples collected with regard to the history of psychology (research perception, problem solving, social relations, etc.). Problems of reliability and validity. Observation and its methods (for example, Flanders interaction-analysis system applied to the educational situation). Test methods and range. Projective methods. Sociometry. Instrumentation methods. Working with the client - directive and undirective approach. Ethics in educational work.
Student knows the basic research methods and techniques and can be applied to specific examples.
