Course content
1-2 Theoretical starting points (big three in motivational psychology, intrinsic motivation, etc.) 3-4 Thematic Analysis of Dreams 5-7 Thematic Analysis of the TAT (Scoring Manual for Achievement, Affiliation, Power) 8-10 Questionnaire and semi projective fests for measuring of the motives, esp. with students and pupils 11-14 Reports on the Czech studies in the fields of students motivation

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
What the motivation is? What are the aspects of current motivation? What is a framework for learning motivation? Starting points for the motivational support. Short term motivation by teacher. Long term approach (e. g. origin vs. pawn, motivational training starting from Hechausen and Rheinberg's Extended Model of Learning Motivation. This model enables us both to work with goal-setting, attribution and reference norms and with the interest, flow etc. volitional competencies are included too.
Student should be oriented in the motivation of his/her pupils in the educational settings; student should be able to manage essentials diagnostics (assessment) tools for his/her motivation and motivation of his/her pupils.

Report to one of the study that was led in the Czech Republic and active participation in the workshops.
