Course content
Personality approach; sources of inspiration of contemporary education concept Socialization (primary x secondary, social learning Rewards and punishments, evaluation) Interaction in educational process, social needs (development and cultivation) - affiliation, prestige, K.Horney - ways of relating to people Classroom climate, teacher's influence on its formation, climate orientation vs. achievement orientation Children's self-conception development; emotional intelligence development; evelopment of moral reasoning, development of resilience Work with attributions - as important moment in primary school Motivation - cognitive, social, output-oriented, zone of proximal development, work with objectives Influence of teacher's expectations on pupil Educational styles; psychological issues of individual approach, lead to development of self-regulated learning Psychological issue of evaluation

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge not only from educational psychology, which is crutial in context of educational process in primary school, on the basis of the knowledge to develop certain important skills of students. Each topic is discussed in context of personality approach, 4 pillars of upbringing and education (learn to cognize, act, be together and be)
student is familiar with key topics of educational psychology, manages to combine theoretical knowledge of the course with practice

Student performance assessment, Interview

active participation within classes, commented list of read literature, seminar paper of one's own choice ( student chooses form after agreement with teacher)
