Course content
1. Creativity - theoretical conception, components (Guilford), relations to other cognitive processes, intelligence, creativity and aptitude, creative process 2. Creativity and personality vs. social context: characteristics and development of a creative personality, creative abilities, positive and negative influences on creative potential. 3. Application of tests of creativity (Torrance, Urban), practical training 4. Creativity in various spheres of life: technical, artistic, scientific, pedagogic. 5. Creativity vs. stress and conflict management. 6. Creative teacher, understanding of own creative potential and limits of creativity, self-reflection, methods of development. 7. Creative student, creative class, conditions of creative teaching. 8. Creativity and teacher's and student's motivation. 9. Creativity, imagination, creative methods. 10. Group creativity, brainstorming, discussion etc. 11. Supporting of creativity and creative methods in context of a single school course. Elaborating of a "plan for a creative lesson."

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Graphic and art activities, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
This course offers basic theoretical knowledge of creativity and its practical applications within educational process. It is covered by 1 hour per week. Following questions are discussed: what is creativity, how can I diagnose creativity of children, why is creativity so important, how can I support my own creativity and creativity of my pupils in general and directly in specific school subject, etc.? The course includes creativity exercises, project and group work as well.
Basic theoretical knowledge in psychology of creativity, ability to improve the own creativity and support development of creativity of pupils within the subject by the means of appropriate motivation and using creativity supporting methods.
