Course content
Professional self-concept is discussed in various pedagogical situations. Thematic blocks: 1. Introduction to the teacher - Coming to class - Introduction - Motivation for the subject 2. Discipline - Class relaxation - Valuation and punishment for behavior (activity) - Describing, cheating, help - Class cleaning and keeping order - 3. Working with the class - Introduction to the substance and interpretation - Homework - Classification - Testing, writing, correcting - Disappropriation of student with classification - Excuses (absence, personal reasons) - School trips - 4. Student - Personal problems of the pupil - Power problems of the pupil, motivation - Bullying, brawl, split squad - Crisis intervention - Out-of-school misconduct 5. Teacher - Administration - Class meetings and parents - Teacher-pupil relationship - Teacher as a model - Teacher as a colleague

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The course focuses on self-reflection and cultivation of teacher's professional self-concept. It aims at better orientation of the student in the difficult situations associated with the teaching profession. The interactive and discussion methods elaborate the key aspects of the teaching and the agenda that relate to the teaching profession.
Skill of self-reflection and skill of insight to own prefessional motives, aspirations and goals.
