Course content
1. Definition of developmental psychology, basic concepts, methods of developmental psychology 2. Essential developmental theories 3. Prenatal development, perinatal and postnatal development 4. Newborn child 5. Suckling infant 6. Toddler 7. Pre-school child 8. Young school children 9. Older school children 10. Adolescence 11. Young adulthood 12. Middle age 13. Old age, dying and death

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The course is dedicated to development, developmental rules and essential characteristics of stages of human development. Basic knowledge students obtain about prenatal, infantile, toddler, pre-school and school period of children development, adolescence, adult and old age period and about essential questions of this stages.
