Funkce voleb v moderní demokracii, volební systémy. 6. Vývoj stranického systému ČR. 7. Prezidentský a parlamentní model dělby moci. 8. Dělba moci v ČR. 9. Parlament a legislativní proces. 10. Lidská práva. 11. Politické ideologie: liberalismus a konzervatismus. 12. Politické ideologie: socialismus, environmentalismus, nová sociální hnutí. 13. Mezinárodní vztahy a instituce, zahraniční politika ČR. 14. Evropský integrační proces.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will learn about the functioning of the political process and its links to economic and social development. They will acquire basic information about the development and structure of political science, will learn about its key concepts, methods and theories of exploration. After completing the course, the graduate will be able to orient himself / herself in political systems, and will understand the key aspects of the development of democracy and civil society, especially the mechanism of representation of interests in contemporary conditions. He / she will be better able to assert himself as a citizen and an economic expert.
Students will understand the basic principles of the political system, representation of interests, mediation between citizens and political power, participation of citizens, the legitimacy of power, electoral system, etc.
