Course content |
Cultivation and agrotechnics of main field crops. Winter and spring cereals, root crops, oilseeds, fiber and technical crops. Corn for grain and for silage. Legumes. Main fodder, basics of breeding and nutrition of livestock. Agrotechnics, establishment of stands, nutrition and fertilization, basics of protection, harvesting and post-harvest treatment of main products. Quality requirements for the main products of crop production. Significance and choice of variety in growing systems and their zoning in different growing conditions. Weeds and pests of major field crops. Methods of weed control, mechanical, chemical and biological control.

Subject of the final state examination. Mastering and studying the scientific and professional issues of the subject obtained in the form of lectures, exercises and self-study of selected chapters from teaching texts and professional literature. Acquisition and deepening of knowledge and materials for practical professional activity, or subsequent study.
