Course content
|
Introduction to Act No. on plant health and amendments to certain related acts, as amended by Act No. 626/2004 Coll., Act No. 444/2005 Coll., Act No. 131/2006 Coll. of Act No. 189/2008 Coll., Act No. 249/2008 Coll., Act No. 227/2009 Coll., Act No. 281/2009 Coll., Act No. 291/2009 Coll., Act No. 490 / 2009 Sb. and Act No. 102/2010 Coll .; Following the Act No. 326/2004 Coll., A number of accompanying decrees and regulations were issued, knowledge of which is a basic prerequisite for the performance of the phytosanitary service and the phytosanitary (eg Decree No. 32/2012 Coll., on products and other plant protection products, as amended, Decree No 327/2012 Coll., on the protection of bees, game and aquatic animals and other nontarget organisms in the use of plant protection products, as amended, Act Decree No. 215/2008 Coll., on measures against the introduction and spread of harmful organisms of plants and plant products Decree No. 334/2004 Coll., on Plant Protection Mechanisms Decree No. 333/2004 Coll. , on professional competence in the field of phytosanitary care Decree No. 328/2004 Coll., on the recording and control of harmful organisms in plant products warehouses and on ways of detecting and controlling their occurrence in agricultural public warehouses and warehouses of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund. In addition, students will be introduced to EU legislation in particular by Directive 2009/128/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing a framework for Community action to achieve the sustainable use of pesticides. All related to legislation on Integrated Pest Management (eg National Action Plan, IPM Principles Decree 205/2012 Coll.). Phytosanitary portal, which facilitates user orientation in complex issues of Integrated Pest Management, in line with new requirements arising from European legislation.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the legislation of the Czech Republic on the issue of plant health care.
Students are able to orientate in the field of legislation of the Czech Republic on the issue of plant health care.

Prerequisites
|
Standard knowledge of entomology, plant pathology and IPM.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination
Active participation in exercises, understanding the curriculum defined for the exam.
