This module includes a study and review of studying the biological, ecological and phytocenological knowledges in plants, which are useful for the utilization of the agroecological systems for fulfilling productional and non-productional tasks. Students will study this relationships, which exist in growing process, and possibilities of utilization of this relationships for agricultural management in different ecological and economical conditions of the market economy with respect to the aesthetical and ecological functions of the landscape. Students will study theoretical tasks of fodder crops - forage maize, alfalfa, red clover and other fodder crops, its fertilisation, conservation and applying in fodder base. Management of grass-legume mixtures, grasslands. Ecology and economy reguirements at fodder crops.
Students are able to orientate in the sowing of fodder crops, its preservation, fertilization, harvest and conservation of fodder biomass and its use on animal nutrition. Students will take theoretical knowledge for determination of fodder plants and its seeds.
