Course content
Key aspects non-conventional (organic) and sustainable agriculture of plant health care systems. Fundamentals characteristics of plant pathogens and pest of the most important kind of crops (morphology, determination, bionomic, delimitation (category based on importance). Fundamentals auto-ecology characteristics of key plant pathogens and pests of crops. Methods summary of pest regulation, suppression of occurrence and spread of plant pathogens. Emphases on alternative methods of regulation and target elimination of synthetic pesticides -active ingredients. Fundamentals principles of implementation of standard programs of Integrated Pest Management, draft out for sustainable agriculture and organic farming.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to teach students the bionomics of harmful organisms and to acquaint them with the methods of their non-chemical regulation.
Students will be able to orientate in the area of plant diseases and important pests of crops and methods of IPM used in the protection aginst harmful organisms.
Prerequisites
Standard knowledge of zoology, biology and microbiology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Active participation in tutorials and understanding the curriculum defined for the exam.
