Course content
Content of lectures and classes 1. Introduction in macroeconomics 2. Basic models of economy and proposals - how vorks? National accounts and measurement of national product and national income 3. Gross national product (GDP) - main macroeconomic indicator 4. Agregate supply & Agregate demand 5. Money and banking system 6. Infation: definition and cost 7. Unemployment - economic and social isssue 8. Economy and state today, public sector 9 - 10. Economic rule of government, fiscal and monetary policy, state debt 11. World Trade and comparative advantages theory, exchange rates and international financial system 12. Economic grow and development: theory and measurement; problems of global economy 13. The core of economic transformation in Czech republic since 1989 14. Selected questions of global economics

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The course presents macroeconomics on the basic level and includes explanation of macroeconomic category, agregate indicators, basic macroeconomic realtionships, mutual relations, matters and solutions. Teaching is pursued in relationship on economic development Czech republic. Course informs students about function of market economy. An illustrative interpretation of macroeconimic categories of national economy, fundamental nacional economy relations, problems and its solutions are explained. Tuition is conduct in application on economic process of Czech Republic and in relation to its demographic, regional and territorial administrative context. From methodical side besides lecture a system of individual continous preparation (system of tests) is elaborate and leading of small team by the help of individual consultation (elaboration of semestral team projects with application orientation). Course has a character of computer supported education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Lectures: individual project - rewiev of economic book (min 7 ps) Classes: a) paticular presentation of e-task according to RVP G (National economy and economic rule of government, public finance, b) of one's own economical databasis from e-sources (Czech Statistical Office, Eurostat etc.)
