Course content
1) Analysis of civic education textbooks containing an up-to-date clause of the Ministry of Education and other materials available. 2) Handling with a textbook and groundwork for teaching. 3) Keeping pedagogical documentation. 4) Teaching aims. 5) Effective didactical ways and working methods. 6) Handling with the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Schools and School Education Programmes. 7) Methodology of the development of key competences. 8) Cross-section topics. 9) Lesson planning. 10) Teacher´s authority. 11) The relation between a teacher and a pupil/student. 12) Analysis of teaching. 13) The most frequent problems of trainee-teachers in a senior basic school (disciplinary problems, assessment of students, marking) 14) Up-to-date problems of the didactics of civic education and social science.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course specialized in propaedeutics is to inform students about the basic teaching specifics of civic education and social sciences and formation and development of didactical qualification in this sphere. The course is based on update requirements of The Framework Educational Programme for Basic Schools and puts emphasis on the introducing the bases of pedagogical-didactical practice which can be got through by students while studying the subject of common grounds named " Assistant Practice 1 and 2".

Active participation in seminars, continuous fulfilling tasks dealing with topical issues of didactics focused on civic education and social sciences.
