Gross national product (GDP) - main macroeconomic indicator (IP 14 26/2b) 4. Agregate supply & Agregate demand (IP 14 26/2b) 5. Money and banking system 6. Infation: definition and cost 7. Unemployment 8. Economic rule of government, fiscal and monetary policy, state debt (IP 14 26/2b) 9. Economic grow and development: theory and measurement; problems of global economy (IP 14 26/2b) 10. World Trade and comparative advantages theory, exchange rates and international financial system

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The course presents macroeconomics on the basic level and includes explanation of macroeconomic category, agregate indicators, basic macroeconomic realtionships, mutual relations, matters and solutions. Teaching is pursued in relationship on economic development Czech republic.
Understanding basic functions in economy, orientation in main economic indicators and their analysis, orientation in main principles of government economic policy. Seeking, procesing and assesment macroeconomic, informations, part. via internet
Prerequisites
mathematics knowledge - high school, standard level of use PC and internet

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Combined exam, Seminar work

Elaboration of 10 small corespondence taks and particular semestrial economic project.
