Learning outcomes
The lectures aim to provide a systematic view of human as a whole physical-mental-spiritual unity. The course, designed systematically and historically, introduces students to the basics of the European concept of the person and his/her dignity and provides them with insight into the (religious) roots of the culture they live and work in. The students are introduced to the anthropological connections in the pre-Christian, Christian and post-Christian contexts. The reflection upon human in the anthropological perspective of the Christian religion is not tied to the student's religious or worldview orientation.
Students will gain a sense for anthropological issues and the dignity of man.
