Course content
1. Introduction to the principles of power yoga. Practicing proper breathing. Relaxation training. 2. Súrja namaskár - practice, analysis of individual positions. 3. Standing positions - training, analysis of individual positions. 4. Sitting positions - training, analysis of individual positions. 5. Positions in kneeling - training, analysis of individual positions. 6. Positions on the back - training, analysis of individual positions. 7. Positions lying on the abdomen - training, analysis of individual positions. 8. Positions with arm support - training, analysis of individual positions. 9. Principles of compiling a lesson. 10. Demonstration lesson of poweryoga. 11. Demonstration lesson of power yoga. 12. Demonstration lesson of power yoga. 13. Repetition, preparation of credit requirements. 14. Preparation of credit requirements.

Learning outcomes
Dynamic implementation of basic yoga positions in order to develop strength, flexibility, balance and resilience of the body at all levels.
Students will master the basic yoga positions, their technique, setting of body parts, transitions between positions. All this in connection with the continuous breathing, the correct connection of the diaphragm and the whole stabilization system of the torso. Based on practical exercises, the student will learn to recognize and eliminate errors in the execution of positions. They will get acquainted with the principles of compiling and conducting a power yoga lesson.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment

Active participation in classes - at least 75%. Demonstrate, describe a selected asana from the subject matter. A short demonstration of leading a lesson.
