1. Introduction to the course content and credit requirements for basketball. 2. Training of individual skills - dribble without and with the movement. Game. 3. Practice of individual skills - pass without and with the movement. Game. 4. Practice of individual skills - movement of a player without a ball and guarding a player without the ball. Game. 5. Practice of individual skills - movement of a player with the ball and guarding a player with the ball. Game. 6. Training of individual skills - layup. Game. 7. Training of individual skills - shooting. Game. 8. Training of basic offensive game combinations. Game. 9. Training of basic defensive game combinations. Game. 10. Improvement of basic offensive game combinations. Game. 11. Improvement of basic defensive game combinations. Game. 12. Training game and basics of gaming systems. Game. 13. Revision of learned skills and theoretical knowledge by means of individual exercises and basketball game. 14. Knowledge test of the basketball rules and systematics and a practical test to determine the level of basketball skills.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills specific to basketball. Practical skills will be applied in the game and in practical requirements. Furthermore, students learn the basic systematics and basic didactic principles and rules of this sport game. Use this knowledge in leading lessons and managing matches.

Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation, Test
Basic knowledge of theory (basic basketball skills, basic systematics and didactic principles, basic rules of the game), practical acquisition of basic game skills and apply them in the game and in meeting practical requirements. Leadership lessons and match management. Orientation in the given sports sector.
