Course content
1. Course sylabus, credit requirements, game playing. 2. Training of two-hand overhead hitting - setting and passing. 3. Training of one-hand overhead and forearm hitting - serving. 4. Training of two-hand forearm hitting - passing. 5. Training of attack individual performance skills - serving and passing. Game playing 6. Training of attack individual performance skills - passing and setting. Game playing 7. Training of attacking - spike, lob, drive, tipping - from zones IV and II. 8. Training of blocking - single block against the attack from zones IV and II. Game playing. 9. Training of deffensive individual performance skills - digging own spiker. Game playing. 10. Theory: volleyball rules. Refereeing. 11. Training of deffensive play combinations - players´ position against attacking and serving. 12. Test of volleyball rules and systematics. 13. Test of skills - passing, setting and serving. 14. Awarding credits, game playing.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills specific to volleyball. Practical skills wil be applied in the game. Furthermore, students learn the basic systematics and basic didactic principles of this sport game.
Students acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills specific to volleyball. Practical skills to apply in the game and in meeting practical requirements. Theoretical knowledge to apply in leading lessons, match management and in meeting theoretical requirements.
Prerequisites
The student must actively complete all parts of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation, Test

Basic knowledge of theory (basic volleyball skills, basic systematics and didactic principles, basic rules of the game), practical acquisition of basic game skills and apply them in the game and in meeting practical requirements. Leadership lessons and match management.
