Course content
|
Athletics: 1. Introduction of course content and credit requirements. Special track warm up and special running exercises (ABC). Throw training (standing throws). 2. Sprint training - shorter distance sprints, focusing on start and movement phases (leg action, arm action, head carriage). 3. High jump training - focusing on movement phases (approach, take off, flight, and landing). Development of endurance. 4. Long jump training - focusing on movement phases (approach, take off., flight, and landing). Circle training. 5. Shot put training. Development of endurance - various distance runs, focusing on breathing, running in group, maintenance a regular speed. 6. Practising credit requirements. 7. Credit lesson.

|
Improvement and training selected Track and Field athletics events - technique and didactics (methodical sequences) of track, jumps and throws. Rules of selected Track and Fields athletics events.
The course participant should be able to explain and to demonstrate correct techniques of selected track and field events (track, jumps and throws) and also to understand relevant rules of athletics.
