Course content
1. Introduction to the plan and requirements of the subject. Application of musical accompaniment in the teaching of physical education. 2. Basic musical movement relations. Rhythmic motifs, possibilities of rhythmic exercises. 3. Basics of folk dances. 4. Basics of country dances. 5. Basics of modern dances. 6. Basic types of aerobics, characteristics and basic elements of low and high aerobics. 7. Practicing the basic steps of low and high aerobics with music. 8. Musical movement relations in aerobics. Communication in aerobics. Teaching methods in aerobics. 9. Aerobics with children, composition of children's aerobics lessons. Use of aerobics in TV lessons. 10. Basic strengthening, balancing and stretching exercises, possibilities of their rhythmization and phasing in connection with musical accompaniment. 11. Preparation of credit requirements. 12. Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get acquainted in practice with basic musical movement relationships, with their use in TV lessons, not only as a means of developing creativity, musicality, rhythmization, aesthetics and coordination of movements, but also as a means of increasing health-oriented fitness.


Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment

80% active participation in teaching. Creating, rehearsing and performing a movement composition to the musical accompaniment (4 different shapes, beginning and departure, beginning and end). Compilation of own aerobics choreography, its written record and performance for musical accompaniment.
