Course content
|
1. Introduction to Functional Anatomy (basic morphological concepts). Development, growth and constitution. Functional anatomy of tissues of the locomotor system. 2. General bone anatomy. General anatomy of the joint. 3. Skull. Axial system. 4. Skeleton and joints of the upper limb. 5. Skeleton and joints of the lower limb. 6. Functional anatomy of skeletal muscle. 7. Movement components of the locomotor system - muscles (locomotor system - functional units, head muscles, neck muscles, chest muscles, diaphragm, functional anatomy of respiratory muscles, abdominal muscles). 8. Movement components of the musculoskeletal system - muscles (back muscles. Muscles of the upper limb, muscles of the pelvic floor, muscles of the lower limb). 9. Circulatory system. Respiratory system. 10. Endocrine glands. 11. Digestive system. Urinary system 12. Male reproductive system. Female reproductive system. Skin system. 13. Nervous system (NS), (General principles of NS structure, Structure of peripheral nerves and synapses, Receptors - sensory organs, Spinal cord and spinal nerves, Brainstem, cerebellum and cranial nerves, Brain hemispheres, Ventricular system and cerebral sheaths, motor control) . 14. Repetition and summary of the curriculum.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to master the basics of functional human anatomy.
The student will be able to orientate in the field of basics of functional anatomy and the most basic knowledge necessary for understanding the context and mastering other subjects.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Test
Combined exam (oral and written form of verification of study results) Additional requirements for the student leading to the completion of the course: 75% attendance at the course, successful completion of two continuous tests. The first test contains the curriculum of the first 5 teaching blocks. The second test contains the curriculum of the second 5 teaching blocks.
