Course content
1. Introduction to the climbing equipment (Harness, carabine, figure eight, rope, and other belaying aid) safty information (instruction and reaction during climbing and belaying in the couple), behaviour rules at the climbing wall, training - knots and kinds of belaying 2. Training of belaying top rope climber, top rope climbing 3. Climbing and belaying in the climbing couple (with the top rope belaying), security rules during climbing, reaction to the control signals, up sailing. Basic climbing movement. 4. Climbing and belaying in the climbing couple (repetition), the rule of 3 points, right climbing movement 5. Training of climbing technique with emphases on the secure belaying and cooperation in couple . 6. Belaying training with the Gri-Gri and half clove hitch, top rope climbing, different difficultness climbing - overhang, few holds, little holds in the vertical part 7. Automatization of saving climbing and belaying, climbing exercises for technique, climbing knots, rolling up the rope. 8. Leader belaying, clicking quick draws, technique training 11. Working with the rope during leader belaying, leader climbing 12. Endurance training, couple cooperation 13. Learning outcomes
The goal is to get up to principles of protection and climbing on a wall. Basic knots binding for climbing, top rope climbing, basic manipulation with materials.
Climbing on the artificial wall under difficulty 4+ as a leader; knowledge of 12 basic knots; basic manipulation with climbing equipment
Prerequisites
Could not have dizziness

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Test

Knowledge of twelve knots, working with the rope, leader and top rope climbing.
