Course content
1. 1.Introduction lesson - familiarization with the plan, assigning seminar papers - methodical outputs Praxis - basic dancing steps - studyrka: pull-up pace, skipping pace, trotting, galloping, double polka, and simple dances in 2/4 tact rhythm: Hulán, Šotyš, country dances - Pískající Rufus 2. repeating basic dancing steps and dances in 2 tact rhythm, newly Křižák, Doudlebská polka, country dance - Zuzana 3. repeating dances in 2 tact rhythm, simple dances in ? tact rhythm: sousedska, mazurka - Na Bíle Hoře, Měla Babka, Na Tý Louce Zelený 4. repeating the already known dances, combination of the 2 tact and 3 tact rhythm - mateniky and obkrocaky - Taliján, Hajho Husy 5. repeating the already known dances, newly country dance Jednoduchá Čtverylka, basic dancing steps - blues and polka 6. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, basic dancing steps - valse and waltz 7. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, basic dancing steps -cha-cha, jive 8. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, czardas, polonaise 9. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, modern dances 10. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, repeating the already known country dances 11. credit requirements 12. accomplishing the praxis - fulfilling credit requirements, granting the credit 13. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, rumba, samba 14. performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, repeating country dances, theory test performances of the attendants - methodical practice of the chosen dance, fulfilling

Learning outcomes
The scope of the subject includes basic dancing steps, folk dances in binary and trinary rhythm, social and country-dances, methodical performances of attendants with the aim to acquire the methodics of dance training, subject theory.
Graduate is able to demonstrate and teach folk, social and country dances and knows theory.

- active participation during the lessons within the range of minimum 75 % - knowledge of the basic dancing steps and simple country dances in 2 and 3 tact rhythm - ability to apply the methodology of training dances in groups - methodical output - seminar paper- methodology of training a chosen dance - theory test
