Course content
1. The health psychology, history, field development; 2. The health, definitions, theories, determination health; 3. The healthy lifestyle, quality of life; 4. The neuropsychoimunologie, immunity, the relationship of the immune system and psychological effects; 5. The stress, coping with stress, emotions affect health; 6. The burnout, diagnosis, prevention of loss of enthusiasm; 7. The physical activity and mental, physical and mental condition, hypokinesis, adaptation to stress; 8. The nutrition - effect on the psyche, overeating and malnutrition; 9. The intellectual hygiene, self-education, the placebo effect; 10. The negative habits, addiction and health, alcohol, drugs, smoking; 11. The social support, impact on health; 12. The psychosomatics and holistic approach to health; 13. The transformation and transcendence in thinking; 14. The advice on health.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The course aims to inform about the psychological field focusing on promoting and maintaining good health. Health psychology focuses on areas that enhance health. Immunity, healthy lifestyle, influence of nutrition and movement, social support, mental etc. And at the same time exploring areas that weaken health, such as addictive drugs, addiction, stress and more.
The student is able to apply in practice knowledge specific to mental health promotion.

Written examination

Cope with issues of psychic phenomena, the aspects and consequences that affect human health.
