Course content
1. P- Introduction, literature, characteristics of CPE S - Basic positions of corrective excercise 2. P- Organization forms of CPE, principles for relaxation and stretching S - Testing of shortened muscles 3. P - Pronciples for strengthening muscles, basic positions of strengthening excercise S - Testing of muscles, which tend to be weakening, excercises for muscle strenght 4. P - Postural funcion, postural stereotype, good body posture, diagnostics, postural disorders S - Diagnostics of good body posture, compensation excercises 5. P - Syndroms of muscle disharmony, hypermobility, motor stereotype S - Examination of muscle disharmony 6. P - Vertebrogenic disorders - greater thoracic kyphosis S - Compensatory and developing excercises for greater thoracic kyphosis 7. P - Vertebrogenic disorders - greater lumbar lordosis S - Compensatory and developing excercises for greater lumbar lordosis 8. P - Frontal Spine disorders - scoliosis S - Scoliosis - examination, compensatory and developing excercises 9. Learning outcomes
Aim of this subject is to provide a collection of theoretical knowledge, which explain basic causes temporary or permanent disorders in physical development, physical building, health condition and practical skills, which help to prevent, eliminate or at least reduce factors that have undesired impact on the state of health to help weakened organism become a resposible base for harmonic physical and mental development. Practical part is focused on assumption of a right choice of physical-training features, i.e. compensatory and developing excercises for various types of healthy weakenings regarding to biological, psychological and social aspects. Healthy aspects of physical education, school and out-of-school concept of adapted physical education. Examination methods and classification of physical development and physical fitness. Postural funcion, postural disorders, compensating exercises, vertebrogenic disorders.
After passing this course a student will be able to diagnose temporary or permanent disorders in physical development, physical building, health condition and practical skills and will have knowledge of setting up a list of exercises which help to eliminate or at least reduce these disorders.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of human anatomy and fyziology.

Student performance assessment

Active participation in class, 75% of active participation in seminars, knowledge test.
