Course content
1. Initial informations to Martial art lessons during the semester and the studies. Recommended literature. Classification of the Martial Arts. Equippment and wear. Etiquette. Credit requirements and task of semminary works. 2. Preparatory exercises in Martial Arts - Martial - pulling. Breathing in Martial Arts styles. 3. Practising of falling backwards roll. 4. Martial pushing. Exercising of backward fall and practising falling backwards roll. 5. Exercising of the front fall. Practising of side rolling fall. Hands hits (techniques) - the meaning. 6. Postures and moves in the postures / aikido, karate, judo / 7. Resistance exercises and games.Various font falls, backward falls and side rolling falls. 8. Martial games using gear, equipment. Direct falls, basic principles and safety. 9. Judo-basic informations. Classification of judo. Basic principles of the throws. 10. Ground techniques, locking techniques - pinning, choking 11. Basics of karate - kihon , breathing in karate. 12. Karate kihon - moves in postures , blocking and punches,basic exercises for kicks 13. Basics of aikido - preparatory exercises., postures and moves ,basic techniques, breathing, 14. Credits

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Skills training
Learning outcomes
Fundamentals of theory and systematics of movement skills from selected combative sports disciplines and martial arts - aikido, karate, judo, self-defense. Warm up with elements of basic combatives, fall techniques.
The basic knowledge of basic resistance exercises theory, practical learning of basic skills

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Test

Active participation in lessons, knowledge of the topics, theory and practical skills of combatives. Practical output - 15-20 minutes focusing on the basic elements of combative activities.
