Learning outcomes
The target of the course is to acquaint students with the basic concepts and relations in the field of central and commercial banking, the functioning of the banking system and basic banking products.
Students understand the basic principles of bank operations, the main banking products on the side of assets and liabilities, banking risks and forms of hedging against them, functions of the central bank, monetary policy and banking supervision and regulation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Credit Requirements: The total success rate of at least 14 points in the credit test, 70%, submission of the seminar paper. Sign up for Moodle - Banking - to 12.10.2020 Exam requirements: Composition of the credit test and oral examination (1 question from the central banking and 1 question from the commercial banking)
