Course content
A cycle of lectures providing the student with orientation in the discourse of the art of the 2nd half of the 20th century. Context of work in the ITZ1 workshop with artistic trends and trends in the 20th century. will be the starting point for conception and creation in the practical part of ITZ1. Content of lectures: - introduction from the artistic style of the 2nd half of the 20th century. I - introduction from the artistic style of the 2nd half of the 20th century. II. - leaving the modern 1940-1950 - Abstract Expressionism, Art of Action, Installation. - 60s - Pop-Art, Land-Art, Minimalism - 60s - Conceptual art - 60s - Videoart - 70s - Performance and body art - The theoretical reflection of the paradigm of the postmodern society - 70s - Postmodern in painting and sculpture - 70s - Photography - 80s - Social engaging art - 1980s - site specific and trends of art in public space - Situation and Overview of Contemporary Art - 1990s - Present - Debate on the possibilities of contemporary art and its future Content of seminars: - sketch to the painting or collage blending abstract expressionism with the Pop-Art approach. - an image or collage blending abstract expressionism with the combination of Pop-Art. - an image or collage blending abstract expressionism with the combination of Pop-Art. Learning outcomes
Teaching is focused on creative work and the discovery of forms of expression artist in contemporary art. The studio work work will be using intersections of different media.
Art thinking in the context of composition, color features and authenticity of expression.

Student performance assessment, Analysis of creative work (musical, visual, literary), Interview, Systematic student observation, Self-reflection

Focused work with an emphasis on sensitivity to color and optical qualities of the artwork.
