1. Color theory (physical and psychological characteristics of colors, contrasts and their function in painting). 2. Art materials for painting (types, marks, expression, use). 3. Impressive function of color (simple painting study). 4. Expressive function of color (color mark and color area as a appliance of expression). 5. Constructive function of color (abstract composition). 6. Painting of nature artifacts. 7.-8. Still life painting. 9. Study painting of animal figures. 10.- 11. Study painting of landscapes. 12. Study painting of head. 13. Study painting of human figure. 14. Evaluation of seminars and created artifacts.

Seminar is focused on exploring of the creative potential of colours and develops an authentic expression in painting. In addition to the theory of color contrasts it also includes the knowledge about impressive, expressive and constructive functions of color with an indication of their methodical use in art education at primary school.
Ability to analyze and explicate the specific visual attributes in the painting expressions.

Student portfolio analysis
Good orientation in materials used for painting and elementary knowledge of color theory. Presentation of paintings portfolio and practical demonstration of basic working with colors and traditional and experimental painting skills.
