Course content
Content of lectures: 1.-3. Definition of vector, vector objects and text objects. 4.-7. Potential and limits of vector drawing (logotype, business cards, banners, cut graphics). 8.-13. Vector formats (Ai, CDR, PDF, SVG, DWG, DXF). Content of seminars: 1.-3. Basic orientation in the Adobe Illustrator graphic program. 4.-7. Basic tools for creating elementary shapes (fill, stroke, crop, and path functions, color profiles, digital font formats and classifications, layers). 8.-10. Creation of a logotype and a manual for its application. 11.-13. Creating a unified visual identity (business card, letterhead, presentation, poster). 14. Evaluation of results and closing of the subject.

Learning outcomes
Within the course, the student will get acquainted with the basic concepts of vector computer graphics and software options for working with it. The teaching blocks are placed on a theoretical and practical basis. Students will be able to orient themselves in the environment of selected graphic programs and can use new skills independently in their own artistic and pedagogical practice.
Preparation of informative and documentary materials. Usage of the vector graphics.
Prerequisites
Basic computer-using knowledge.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's work activities (technical works), Analysis of creative work (musical, visual, literary)

Completing the semestral task.
