Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to studies of human evolution. They will have the opportunity to compare different approaches to the study of human evolution from the perspective of evolutionary biology, evolutionary psychology, behavioral ecology, cultural phylogenetics, paleontology, molecular genetics, historical linguistics and cultural anthropology.
Students will gain knowledge about human evolution from the perspective of primatology, paleoanthropology and molecular genetics. They will also gain knowledge about human ethnic and cultural diversity and population history.
Prerequisites
Recommended courses: Evolutionary biology

Assessment methods and criteria
