Content of practicals: Examples of practical tasks: Examination of size-dependent preference of prey in birds. Testing of learning abilities of a mouse in water labyrinth. Behavioral analysis using Observer or Ethovision software: Analysis of video-recorded behavior. Learning abilities and preferential tests with small rodents. Human ethology experiment

Learning outcomes
|
Gain practical experience with modern procedures in planning, conducting and evaluating behavioral experiments with animals.
The student is able to design and conduct experiments or observations in behavioral research. and also acquires an ability to evaluate research results and communicate key findings.
