Course content
|
About half of the seminars are devoted to recent discoveries, ongoing research and teaching of the employees of the University of South Bohemia, the rest to invited guests from other universities, zoos, museums and nature conservation agencies.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar for those interested in biology of animals, animal evolution, ecology and ethology, animal husbandry, nature conservation, and new, unconventional approaches to these issues. The seminar combines lectures by zoologists from the University of South Bohemia with lectures by invited guests from other universities, zoos, museums and nature conservation agencies in the Czech Republic and abroad. Each lecture is followed by a discussion.
Students will be acquainted with recent discoveries and ongoing research of zoologists at the University of South Bohemia and other universities in the Czech Republic and abroad. Students will get a better idea of their career opportunities.
