Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Group work
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
You will expand your physiology knowledge on vertebrates. Physiological processes are presented in a comparative way.
Student will learn how various vertebrates deal with environmental challenges and which physiological processes they employ, including special adaptations.
Prerequisites
The course employs knowledge of animal physiology, biochemistry, physics and physical chemistry.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Student performance assessment

Student will pass if 67% of questions is answered correctly. Presentation on chosen topic.
