Course content
Plows and machines for surface tillage. Machines for seeding, fertilization and plant protection. Technology of harvesting and preservation of forage, harvester rakes, pick-up trucks, pick-up balers, forage harvesters. Machines for harvesting grain, root crops and industrial crops. Feed warehouses, machinery and equipment for filling and emptying warehouses. Machines for preparation, processing and distribution of feed to animals. Devices for removing and processing of livestock excrement. Livestock water supplies. Machinery and equipment for milking and milk cooling.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Projection, Excursion

Learning outcomes
Objective of this subject is to get students acquainted with machinery used in mechanization of main operational processes and activities in plant and livestock production.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of mathematics, physics and mechanics at secondary level

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

a) Active participation at given number of seminars b)submission of seminar papers on given topic c) Continuous check of knowledge d) Knowledge of themes according to syllabus of the subject
