Course content
|
1. Transporter and manipulation equipments, means of transport, burdens. 2. General rules of the manipulation, factors to manipulation and transport. 3. Safety manipulation, general precaution of material manipulation, prevention. 4. Raising technical-economics aspects of material manipulation, transport kapacity. 5. Loaders, teoretic cycle, correctins coefficiencs, capacity calculation. 6. Dump trackers, technical and technological requirements, data description, technical data. 7. Transport units, pallets, containers, bags, tanks, barrels. 8. Containerization, functional partitioning of containers, container carriers. 9. Conveyers, separation od conveyers, capacity, utilization. 10. Hydraulic transport, pumps, separation of pumps, kapacity. 11. Fork lifts, self trailer, carts, litlle manipulation equipments. 12. Hydraulic cranes. 13. Storage conditions, stock holding, storage equipments. 14. Portable hydraulic lifts, cable system of transport.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of this subject is to inform the students about the basic issues of transport processes. Agricultural materials and their properties.
Completion of subject Fundamentals of agricultural technology required.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Test
Active participation at lectures and planned consultations. The student must responsibly work out the given calculations and self-study the given literature to meet the goals of the final exam. The student will have to work out a seminar paper on a given topic in given range.
