Course content
1. - 2. Cutter bar and rotary harvesters, types. 3. Construction of reels and dividers, kinematics of reel. 4. Swath treatment machinery, types, construction, usage. 5. Pick-up wagoons, types, construction. 6. Forage cutting machines (field choppers). 7. Pick-up presses. 8. Prismatic and cylindrical bales manipulators, constructions, usage. 9. Grain crops harvest processes. 10. Harvester treshers, constructions. 11. Seed separation mechanized lines, seed preparation and separation, types of machines used. 12. Silage machinery, ensiling to foil. 13. Balers. 14. Corn harvest, constructional design of corn harvest machines.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
  • Preparation for classes - 15 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
Objective of this subject is to unify the knowledge of students and to grant stable knowledge about machinery used in the area of plant production - harvest of grain and forage crops.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.
Prerequisites
Completion of subject Fundamentals of agricultural technology required.

Oral examination, Written examination
