Course content
1. Mechanization for cutting decorative gardens and utility areas; 2. Mechanization for the reduction of herbal and woody material; 3. Small machinery for collecting leaves; 4. Garden tractor and small tool carriers, tool carriers wheeler; 5. Garden composters; 6. Mechanization for the transport of loads in the gardens; 7. Combine tractors, riders, modular systems; 8. Carriers of cutting sections; 9. Motor chain saw; 10. Drip irrigation; 11. Garden pumps; 12. Cleaning and sweeping equipment, small machinery for snow removal; 13. Mechanization for the renovation of ornamental grass and sports surfaces; 14. Heated greenhouse, garden, building winter garden.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of the design of garden, orchard and municipal machinery, which is suitable for the realization of the work, such as maintenance of lawns, trees and shrubs and potted flowers and flower beds, water, cleaning surfaces, irrigation and management of organic waste. Students are familiar with the deployment of the machines, with the economy in the operation of machines and machine performance.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Completion of a given number of seminars, active participation while using small garden technology, following the safe instructions given by the lecturer. Study of recommended literature and meeting the criterions of the final test. During the final exam a student will prove the required level of knowledge of lectured topics (answering the chosen question).
