Course content
|
1. The ways of soil processing and the trends of development. 2. The interaction of the wedge and the ground, deformation effects and power ratio. 3. Working parts of the plough, geometrical dependences by the ploughing body. 4. Surface shapes ploughshare, plate working implement. 5. Ploughing resistance. The trends in the plough development. 6. Disk machinery for soil cultivation. 7. The machines with driving working facilities, agrotechnical and operation-economical points of view. 8. The machines for seed-bed preparation - cultivators. 9. The machines for seed-bed preparation - land levellers, harrows, compacting valves. 10. The machines for minimum tillage. 11. Full-width drill feed mechanism - feed mechanism. 12. Full-width drill feed mechanism - drill coulter, hopper, tramlines, type of construction. 13. Seed spacing drill. 14. Sowers for the minimal cultivated soil.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of this subject is to explain the principles and methods of basic soil cultivation, seed-bed preparation and sowing, type of construction machinery for soil cultivation and seed-bed preparation, sowing.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.
