1. Combustion engine - basics parts and accessories. 2. Motor management of spark ignition engines. 3. Gasoline injection. 4. Engine ignition. 5. Wiring in the engine. 6. Turbocharging of engines. 7. Motor management of diesel engines. 8. Rotary injection pumps. 9. Common rail. 10. Unit injector system. 11. Controlling of transmission's gears. 12. Clutch. 13. Sequential gearbox. 14. All-wheel drive.

Learning outcomes
|
The main goal of the subject is to build on the study subject Tractors and transport from bachelor's degree and build on the study subject Agriculture machinery - trade, service, service trades, and to augment knowledge obtained from this subject, especially to acquaint students with new trends in development of mobile energy sources in agriculture, and with application of IT and automotive electronics in controlling of engines and transmissions.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
Requirements to get the credits: 1. Participation - max. 2 unauthorised absences 2. Seminar paper 3. Average grade from tests: 3 and better 4. When one condition is not met, another seminar paper on a given topic must be worked out 5. When the absence is higher than 50% the credits will not be given Exam - written test with 10 questions from which 2 are counting exercises, oral exam based on the result of the written part
