Course content
1. Introduction to the subject. 2. Slat and rotary mowing machines, division. 3. Mowing machines, classification, construction, use. 4. Turners, tedders. 5. Harvesters, distribution, design. 6. Harvesters. 7. Harvesting presses. Packing machines. 8. Handlers for square and cylindrical bales, construction, use. 9. Harvesting procedures for cereal harvesting Harvesting threshers, design. 10. Mechanised lines for seed mix distribution, cleaning and sorting, types of machines used. 11. Sugar beet and fodder beet-meaning, classification in axis procedure, preparation of field, precision sowing, cultivation, harvesting, parts of harvesters. 12. Flax-meaning, inclusion in the sowing procedure, preparation of field, sowing. Flax - harvesting and dew machines, their parts, post-harvest processing. 13. Hops - importance, inclusion in the sowing process, establishment of hop gardens. Hops - harvesting and post-harvest treatment. 14. Conclusion of the course, credit, presentation.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge of machines used in the field of crop production in the harvesting of cereals, forage crops and the preparation of feed for livestock.
The student is able to apply the knowledge acquired during the study defined in the Content section of this syllabus.
Prerequisites
Completion of the course Agricultural Technology I.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Combined examination (written and oral), credit - attendance, elaboration and presentation of the chosen topic, submission of protocols according to the assignment.
