Course content
Lecturesand seminars: 1. Family like a significant and unsubstitutable educational agent. 2. Theory of family upbringing 3. Function of a family and standards of family upbringing. 4. Realizing of the main responsibility of a family for children upbringing. 5. Correct way of living and hygiene of family environment. 6. Negative phenomena in a family (stress, conflicts, alcohol, drugs, infidelity). 7. Various routes of phenomenon solving. 8. Healthy life style of a family, 9. Common spending of free time and educational model in a family. 10. Problems of sex education. 11. Principles of sex education in a family and out of it. 12. Problems of sexual behaviour, above all from the point of view of value system and health hazard. 13. Sexual ill - usage and violation in families. 14. Credit hour Credit hour requirements: Active attendance at practical education, seminar paper.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Projection, Graphic and art activities, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The subject is aimed on family as an important and unsubstituted education determinant. Students receive knowledge of the family education theory, for example family functions and family educations determinants and standards. They study the role of family in child education process - not only theoretically, but practically as well. Students study also negative facts in a family (stress, conflicts, alcohol consumption, drugs etc.) and try to discover on base of simulation stuations to suggest different possibilities of solution. A big accent is given to health family life style, possibilities of leisure time spending and education pattern. Sexual education in family is the next topic for study - principles, problems, values and needs.
Active listening, developing of communication, belonging to the group, cooperation, collective and personally values, aspects of responsibility, developing of creativity, art to solve problems, theoretic knowledge, etc.
