Course content
Healthy life and health care Nourishment and health - fundamentals of healthy food, influence of life conditions and nourishment habits on health; eating disorders Physical and mental hygiene - fundamentals of personal, intimate and mental hygiene, winterisation, influence of movement on health Circadian rhythms Prevention of infection illnesses, chronic disorder and injuries - safe proceeding (diseases from sexual interaction, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis); preventative and medical care; responsible behavior in situations of injury and life risk states (injuries in consumer sector, at sport, in the workplace, in transport) Diversification endangering health and their prevention Stress and its relation to health - compensatory, relaxation and of regeneration techniques to negotiation fatigue, stress response and to strengthening mental immunity Civilizing illnesses - health hazard, preventative and medical care Holistic conception of human in health and diseases - components of health and their interaction, basic human needs and their hierarchy (Maslow theory) Health support and their forms - prevention and intervention, change qualities of environment and individual behavior, individual responsibility for health. Health support in community - Health weeks at school Personage and social development Self - knowledge and Self - conception - relation on all, relation to other people; healthy and well - balanced conception Self - regulation and Self - organization - activity and behaviour - exercising - reflection, self - control, self - control and coping in troubleshooting situation; Personal aims and gradual steps to the achievement. Mental - hygiene in social acquirements for prevention and coping stress, search assist in at problems Moral development - exercising seat value postures and decision - making skill; acquirements for problem solving in interpersonal relations; empathy and pro- social behavior.

Learning outcomes
The subject Theory and Methodic of the Health education brings the base knowledge about a man in the correlation with human health prevention and protection. The subject prepares elementary school teachers aspirants to intentional work with pupils in the sense of health development and protection in connection of the all health levels (social, mental and physical). Students meet with methodic of advisable hygienic, nourishment, work and the other preventive habits (impairment prevention in daily life and in extraordinary situations). The accent is in the application of the knowledge in model situations in schoul life.
