Course content
Current level of reproduction of individual species of livestock. Critical moments of the reproductive process. Causes of reproductive disorders of dams and sires, and their solutions. Organization of reproduction of individual species of livestock with regards to breeding work. Using of biotechnical methods in reproduction and breeding of livestock.

  • Semestral paper - 120 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of Ph.D. students acquired during the master's study in the field of animal reproduction, reproduction management of individual livestock species and biotechnical methods in reproduction.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operation of the work of a specialist to provide the reproduction of livestock.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology of animals.

Oral examination, Seminar work
