The aim of the Special Animal Husbandry (KZVE / SPEC and KZVE / QSPEC) is to acquaint students with biological, zootechnical measures in fish farming, bees and fur animals (i.e. rabbits, chinchillas and nutrias/coypus). Main attention will be paid to basic biology (species and breeds), zootechnical measures in breeding and reproduction methods. The acquired knowledge then creates a logically connected whole and can be practically used in a breeding organization of a specific breeding.
Students will acquire basic knowledge about the biological essence of fish, bees, rabbits, nutrias, chinchillas and pigeons. It also obtains knowledge about basic breeding possibilities of them in the Czech Republic, including zootechnical measures.
